The old Belfast Dock saw the launch of legendary ships and stories. Using salvaged wood from this historic old dock we created a collection inspired by the beautiful green of oxidised copper and the bulb-protecting work lights of dockers. These handsome practical lamps work beautifully in contemporary homes.
The hero of this table lamp is the base of salvaged timber lovingly handcrafted from the historic old Belfast Dock. This is accented by a beautiful teal oxidised copper pipe and a stunning retro style LED bulb. Due to the rarity of the timber, only 100 of each piece is made and each lamp is numbered and signed.
Each lamp is unique, the colour, grain and finish of the wood will vary from lamp to lamp. All our lamps are made by hand in our studio in Delgany, Co. Wicklow and each comes with a handwritten label describing its provenance. All our bulbs are LED and have an expected lifespan of 30,000 hours/10 years approx.
