About Sandra Hartwieg

Combining contemporary design with the historical tradition of Irish metalwork, Sandra makes jewellery from recycled silver and gold. She established her jewellery brand in 2018 after completing a BA in Fine Art at National College of Art and Design, as well as the DCCI’s Jewellery and Goldsmithing Skills and Design course. A signature style of simple geometric forms, mixed metals, and intricate textures are common threads throughout her collections. She works from a small studio in Kilkenny.

Sandra’s minimal style is inspired by working directly with materials in the workshop. Geometric forms are assembled and then contrasted with patterns imprinted into metal. As one of the ancient universal languages, we can see geometry all around us if we take a moment to look. This jewellery captures little pieces of the world’s beauty to wear every day.
