Using traditional weaving techniques and custom-made handlooms, Hay-Edie and her staff created rugs and fabric for mid-century design icons Robin Day and Terence Conran. Their hand-woven Shaggy Dog tweed brought Mourne to the attention of the fashion world, where they continue to innovate from their Irish-Scandinavian roots. As Hay-Edie put it “out of the past flows the future."
