Design Ireland Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for the Design Ireland Programme 2024

All brands must:

  • be registered clients of Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI)
  • have submitted information when requested on the DCCI Annual Client Survey
  • be designing and making products in Ireland*
  • commit to providing up to date and accurate information as required
  • have a transactional website to process sales and/or bookings directed from the Design Ireland website**
  • hold the License for Use for all images and videos submitted
  • agree that content submitted can be used for promotional purposes on Design Ireland website and social media networks
  • agree that content submitted can be provided to third party partners who are collaborating with DCCI on Design Ireland projects and initiatives such as selectors, trade show organisers and retail buyers.

Notes

* Where 100% of the product is not made in Ireland, makers must clearly identify to consumers (in product labelling and in the description on-line) what elements of their materials or final product are not made in Ireland

** Experiences are Studio/Gallery/Retail spaces where visitors can meet makers and learn about the making process or workshops or classes. All experiences must be clearly identifiable with dates, times and prices and an online booking system on your website or a third-party website. Businesses listed on Experiences do not have to be featured on the main Design Ireland retail section.

The decision of the Design Ireland selection panel in final and non-negotiable. Lobbying of any panel member, before, during or after the selection process will be deemed a breach of the terms and conditions and you will be removed from the Design Ireland Programme.

The panel has to the right to opt to pass an applicant pending receipt of certain information or an updated status eg. If you are in the process of applying to register with DCCI, or you are in the process of updating your COO information or you are redeveloping your website you may pass pending satisfactory completion.

DCCI reserve the right to temporarily or permanently remove information or listings from the Design Ireland website or any Design Ireland initiative if deemed necessary.

DCCI reserve the right to audit clients to ensure accuracy of the information submitted – anyone deemed to have provided inaccurate information will be removed from the Design Ireland website and any Design Ireland initiatives and risks being de-registered from DCCI.

DCCI reserve the right to update the Design Ireland Programme Terms and Conditions as and when necessary. Terms and Conditions are available on the Design Ireland web site.

Any abusive, profane or even defamatory posts towards any person, entity, belief or symbol shall be deleted.
